With over 25 years’ experience across pre-construction, design coordination, and site delivery, I bring a complete view of how projects are planned, managed, and built.
Homebuilding Essentials was created to give homeowners access to that same level of professional structure, without needing a full-time project manager.
Experience built on real project delivery
My career has been grounded in live construction environments from the outset, working on site, in pre-construction planning, and alongside project programmers to understand how projects are sequenced and delivered professionally.
I’ve since led and continue to lead high-value residential projects, applying the same structured approach with detailed planning, risk management, and cost control at the centre of every decision.
As a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB), my approach combines technical knowledge with practical delivery, ensuring decisions made on paper translate effectively on site.

Most self-builders are given advice in isolation, from designers, consultants, and contractors without a clear structure for how everything fits together.
That’s where projects lose control.
My approach is different. It focuses on sequencing decisions correctly, coordinating design and information before construction, and managing the process as a whole, not as disconnected parts.
