Project Oversight
Ongoing professional construction support at any stage of your project, without the cost of a full-time Project Manager.
Project Oversight provides experienced guidance throughout the life of your project.
It’s designed for those who want confidence, clarity, and professional reassurance, while remaining hands-on with their build.
This is not day-to-day project management. It’s practical and jargon free oversight, helping you make better decisions, at the right time, reducing risk and knowledge of the next steps.
Who project oversight is for
Project Oversight is suited to you if:
You are planning, building, or completing a residential project
You are managing your own consultants and contractors
You want professional guidance and reassurance at key decision points
You value experienced input, without handing responsibility to a third party
It’s particularly valuable if you want:
Greater clarity around sequencing and decision-making
Support navigating builders, contracts, and site progress
Confidence that important issues are being identified early
Project Oversight is designed to support and guide you, not to take control of your project or deliver it on your behalf.
What Project Oversight is (and isn’t)
Project Oversight is:
Ongoing professional guidance and review
Support at key decision points
A sounding board for technical, contractual, and process questions
Senior oversight from a Chartered Construction Manager
Project Oversight is not:
Full project management
Contractor supervision or site management
Day-to-day coordination of trades or consultants
Delivery of the project on your behalf
Responsibility for delivery remains with you and your appointed team, Project Oversight exists to support, guide, and protect you as you do so.
Project Oversight is not intended for one-off troubleshooting or reactive issue resolution outside a structured support period.
How Project Oversight works
Project Oversight is provided on an ongoing monthly basis and can begin at any stage of your project, pre-construction, during the build, or towards completion.
Support is structured, professional, and focused on:
Regular check-ins
Review of key information before decisions are made
Guidance on issues as they arise
Input at defined milestones
Where Project Oversight begins during pre-construction or the build stage, it typically runs over a minimum three-month period to allow sufficient time to support proper sequencing, decision-making, and delivery.
Where support is required solely at the completion stage, Project Oversight may be provided on a shorter, one-month basis.
Examples of support
Project Oversight adapts to where you are in your project. Typical examples of support include:
Plan It - Pre-Construction Support
Structuring and Sequencing Your Pre-Construction Programme - examples include:
Guidance on how your project should be sequenced, what needs to happen when, and how early decisions affect everything that follows. This includes helping you understand and apply a pre-construction programme, rather than leaving you to work it out alone.
